The Town of Meaford town centre is located at the south west portion of Georgian Bay on the shores of the Nottawasaga Bay (an inlet of Georgian Bay). The Municiaplity of Meaford encompasses St. Vincent Township, Sydenham Township, the communities of Annan, Balaclava, Bognor, Centreville, Leith, and Woodford and the Town of Meaford with a total population of 10,991 (StatCan 2016) and Coordinates: 44°35′N 80°44′W.

Located north of The Blue Mountains, Municipality of Grey Highlands, and Township of Chatsworth and west of Owen Sound is the Municipality of Meaford. Meaford is affectionately known as the Heart of Ontario's Apple Country. The municipality also sees tourism for it's great hiking and cycling trail systems, scenic landscape, and many wonderful outdoor activities and amenities.
